The challenge

Our task was to develop a communication strategy for Stronghold, a private real estate fund founded by Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Canada. 

The main challenge was to find an effective approach to two very different audiences: Ukrainian investors who place trust in personalities, and Canadian investors who focus on numbers, reporting, and professional reputation. We needed to deeply understand the new sector of real estate investment in the Canadian market, uncovering the needs, expectations, and concerns of potential investors. 

A key challenge was building trust in a new fund just entering the market, aiming to raise capital and establish a reputable position.

The solution

The HAVAS Red Ukraine team conducted dozens of in-depth interviews with representatives of both target groups in Ukraine and Canada to precisely formulate the value proposition for each audience. 

Based on these insights, we developed a comprehensive communication strategy that reflects differences in information perception: for Ukrainians, emphasis was placed on the founder Serhiy Stiopa—a well-known entrepreneur with a successful track record; for Canadians, the focus was on analytics, reliability, and stability. 

Additionally, we created a content plan with clear rubrics for digital channels and first-person communications. 

The visual identity was developed by Havas Ukraine, who crafted a brand book grounded in color psychology and associative shapes highlighting the fund’s transparency and stability.
